Text description provided by the architects. The project consists of the rehabilitation of an old warehouse into a school of graphic and visual arts.
The successive transformations of the building’s layout since its construction led to an important deficiency of natural light, spoiling the original spatial qualities of the building.
The major stake of the project is then to restore these qualities while meeting the requirement of the new program.
The project takes advantage of the building's structure throught clearly delimited interventions, emphasizing its obvious original spatial qualities.
